This tour will allow you to bask in the mountainous scenery of Pakistan, visit Fairy Meadow, which offers a view of Nanga Parbat (the world’s 9th tallest mountain), and explore the region of Hunza, which is known as a veritable Shangri-La. At the tour’s outset, you can embark on a three-hour hike to Fairy Meadow, where you’ll reach a scenic spot with a great view of the north face of Nanga Parbat. This is the perfect place to enjoy the view of the mountains in both the morning and evening.
Along the Karakoram Highway, we will stop to appreciate the rock art on the banks of the Indus River—art which will be soon submerged when the Indus River dam is completed—and also visit the Gandhara archeological ruins in Taxila, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
