The Kalash Valley in early December, after all the harvests have been gathered and the livestock have come down from the mountains, sees the start of rituals which welcome the Kalash god Balimain. The ceremony includes a rite of passage, a purification ritual, and an offering to the gods, and the climax features the farewell to Balimain, complete with torches and a large bonfire. This is a special trip that will allow you to get a glimpse into a deep, living faith and its rituals.

Itinerary
- Transfer from Islamabad to Ayun
- From Ayun, drive to Rumbur Valley by 4WD.
For six days from the time of arrival, we will take you to visit the Rumbur Valley, Bumburet Valley, and Nuristan villages, as well as to the daily rituals that take place there. Tour participants will also need to purify themselves.
- From Rumbur, drive to Islamabad.
